Abstract

The paper analyzes the energy balance of uplink and downlink radio lines in mobile communication systems during data exchange, calculates the size limit of the service area for a fixed data transfer rate. The calculated limit may or may not meet the criteria of the cell limit, which is formed in such a way as to ensure the energy balance in the defined area of operation of mobile communication systems with quality parameters of the SAE/EPS system. The purpose of the analysis of the downlink radio is to determine the permissible losses during the propagation of radio waves while ensuring the necessary data transfer rate and maintaining the service area limited by the energy balance of the uplink radio link. The results of the analysis of the energy balance of the SAE/EPS system can be used for the case when the design is carried out in order to ensure the specified size of the service area and data transfer rate and for planning the service areas of a group of additional radio communication channels.
