Automation of mobile application testing processes.

Abstract

The article considers the trendy problem of automating mobile application testing processes. It is proved that the automated concept aims to facilitate and improve the testing process of mobile applications. Current trends and challenges related to this topic are highlighted. The basic approaches and methods to automate mobile application testing are described, and the latest technologies and tools that can be used to improve testing processes are considered. Schemes of advantages and levels of automation of mobile application testing are developed. A scheme for classifying approaches to automating mobile application testing is presented. Ways to automate the testing processes of mobile applications are considered and demonstrated. The stages of automation of mobile application testing processes are clarified, which is shown in the table. The reasons for automating mobile application testing processes are considered. It explores such important aspects of automation as testing mobile application functionality, interface, performance, and security. Attention is focused on solving problems related to different platforms and versions of operating systems. Based on the analysis of literature sources, practical research, and the author's own experience, recommendations for effective automation of mobile application testing processes are provided. While there are challenges and limitations to automation, such as initial setup and learning curve, testing complex scenarios, and maintenance requirements, the benefits often outweigh the drawbacks. Consequently, organizations can make informed decisions about implementing automated testing processes to improve the quality and reliability of their mobile apps by carefully evaluating the pros and cons of automation.
