Conceptual model of information flow processing in the system of unmanned aerial vehicles

Abstract

The article describes a conceptual model of the organization of information flow processing in unmanned (aircraft) systems that can be used within transformation process of the Armed Forces. The conceptual model is not exhaustive and may be supplemented or changed when new technical solutions appear. It is emphasized that implementation of unmanned systems in the armed forces is one of the priority tasks of transformation in the conditions of conducting long-term military operations to ensure the minimization of personnel losses. Basic scenarios of the possible use and combination of unmanned vehicles to achieve the goal of reducing personnel losses are presented. The existing technical solutions for use in unmanned aerial vehicles, ground robotic systems, marine drones, etc. have been reviewed. The change in the intensity of messages of a particular type, as well as the change in the value of a specific message depending on the operational situation, has been demonstrated. The article pays attention not only to the use of existing solutions, but, first of all, to the development of domestic software and technical solutions for the possibility of their continuous modification and improvement due to the appearance of new solutions and optimization of existing ones.
