Research of the mechatronic system «frequency converter-asynchronous motor-car generator»

Abstract

The article considers a mechatronic system consisting of a drive asynchronous motor AM, which has a wide range of shaft speed regulation. This is due to the power supply of its windings with variable frequency voltage from the frequency converter of the frequency converter FC. In the frequency converter, the regulation of the industrial frequency from 50 Hz to 0 Hz makes it possible to proportionally change the shaft speed, i.e. from maximum speed to a complete stop. The frequency converter is an intelligent electronic device with power electronics elements, which has high speed, visualization and control of electrical parameters. The frequency regulator of the converter imitates the pedal of the car accelerometer. The engine with adjustable speed drives an automobile generator that works in conjunction with a voltage regulator, load and battery charging. This completely replaces a similar automobile system, where instead of an internal combustion engine, an electric motor of comparable power with a generator is used. As the results of research and testing have shown, this stand simulates the operation of an automobile generator with high accuracy in various operating modes. The generator is excited by an electromagnetic system from the battery with its parallel charging during generator operation. A transistor-type relay regulator regulates the voltage at the generator output within the required limits when changing the load and speed.
