Methodological features of studying the conceptual design of databases in the training of future professionals.

Abstract

The material of the article contains explanations and methodological recommendations for studying the chapter of conceptual design of databases within the teaching of courses related to investigation and development of structured data in higher education institutions during the training of future professionals. The paper considers the entity-relationship model, which is non formal model of the subject area, and offers methods of teaching modeling of subject areas, considers the implementation of competency tasks, as well as typical problems that arise when teaching this chapter.
