Abstract
The use of queuing theory methods for optimization of equipment maintenance and repair management is presented. The processes of maintenance and repair of equipment at a machine-building enterprise were considered from the standpoint of a multichannel queuing system with a queue. A computer was used to automate the calculation of the required number of repair units to minimize equipment downtime in the queue for repair and minimize costs.
